The Hero Of Time... DOES NOT WEAR UGGS!

*Cough*

So yeah, expo journal!! Apologies if this turns out to be epic long, I'm not planning it to be in particular, but it does cover a nice round week of expo highs and lows. 8D;; You have been warned~


SO! The whole thing starts really on thursday, with *Ayazani staying the night before we planned to head off. The whole day was SUCH a pain in the arse. The times were proving to be really awkward so she would have had to wait around for me, and I was flapping pretty much all day with nerves that it wouldn't work out but thankfully it sorta all fixed itself, and I could pick her up from the station nearest to my house.
I ended up arriving about half hour before she did, thankfully, but oh my god did that time go slow. Having not seen her in what felt like forever, I was watching the clock for that damn train to arrive in pure excitement! Buuut, of course, eventually it did, and I dragged her back to mine 8D We spent the evening watching Reborn and ploughing through both Varia Arc and some TYL Varia eps.. The running theme clearly allowing for pre-Varia cosplay hype~ gotta love the Varia! And of course... FLYING ELEPHANTS!!

Muya! After eventually getting to sleep after me having watched The Adventures of Douchebag the Dialga and the Defeat of the Pokemon League, friday FINALLY ARRIVED! And shortly after that of course, we finally arrived at excel! We'd already been checked into our room at the Ibis (I will never get over how useful it was to just roll out of bed and onto expo grounds.. <3) by ~Chibi-Hebi-Chan and LEVI who had already arrived. The room was a little smaller than expected.. but I think we were all so excited we didn't really care. So excited in fact, that really shortly after arrviving we were in cosplay and walking around the grounds. ! ~Spinni arrived a bit later, much to everyone's happiness, and we basicly spent the rest of the day chillin' with food, drink and music. Twas a good day filled with Levi abuse.

Saturday started for us at the glorious hour of 5am, to the beautiful music of the Varia. Again, I think it was pure excitement that actually got us up, I'm not sure what time the five of us had fallen asleep, but I know sleep wasn't that plentiful. Apparently though, this is to be expected in hotels (Twas mooch's first time.. ) We had breakfast and eventually left the Ibis to head off for queuing. Where we queued for a queue. It was about 7am at this point, but hey ! Once we were actually queuing to get in, our entire time was filled with JUDGEMENT. The cosplay wasn't really as epic as perhaps we were used to. But then I guess everything has it's ups and downs.. Hopefully May will be better on that front.
So once we FINALLY got past the Queue-bitch and got inside, and then got our masquerade tickets we toddled off for the Reborn Meet. It was quite epic actually~ Quite a few people showed up.. And STAYED! It was great 8DD Loads of pictures were taken, both crack and serious, and I really can't wait to see them~ Most of the rest of the day was just spent chillin' really, went inside for a bit, patrolled around for some reborn merchandise and found next to nothing Owo; I did find mah volume 12 of reborn though~ *strokes cover* Have been wanting THAT one for a while!
The evening though was rather epic – The Varia, joined by ~yamakuzy, ~Darkiekun and *katsarayuki went out to a fancy ol' Italian restaurant for dinner! The prince was very unhappy at first, being forced to wear shirt and tie by Bossu ._.; but after sulky trudging and more concentration on the food we were about to order, it was soon forgotten about. We had too much fun I think, other than the loss of the contact lense from bossu~ But it was dealt with soon enough 8D; I don't think the staff were very impressed with us in general
Again, the evening was chilled only this time outside the centre for a couple of hours, it was sad to see ~yamakuzyhave to leave early, even if I DID make him miss his train, but we knew he'd be back the next day. Heh, back at the hotel mind, it didn't take long for people to start falling asleep. Me, ~Spinni and ~Chibi-Hebi-Chan all stayed up chatting with a dozing bossu taking up most of the double bed.
Twas a good day filled with Levi abuse.

SUNDAY! Wasn't quite so quick to start... The alarm went off again at 5, and went off three times. Nobody got up. I did mind, up and about the prince was, but – with no sign of movement I turned off the alarm. Levi had already tried and failed, not even getting out of bed. Six o clock came and a few people started to rouse, and it was just people chillin' and chatting with no sign of breakfast or movement or cosplay. There was however PLENTY of abuse from *Ayazani. Sleeping abuse I might add, I was happily sat on the end of the bed out of the way, but kept getting kicked, shoved, had things thrown at me and myself being pushed off the bed and into the cabinet opposite. I still have the bruises from that! Back, elbow and hip. -.-;; Course Bossu had no idea. Bossu had woken up while the Prince was in the shower, and was very confused to come back and find me all nervous. ! Food was brought up though, which made me feel a little better! After munching we all got into cosplay, and the Ragemode began >D It took a while I think to pop on those scars, and while that was off I went in search of Muku-dearest to cover myself in blood~
Once that was put on by ~Spinni (thank you bossu~ ) I think I was far too excited. Far far too excited. The Varia officers were chosen WELL.
After a quick photoshoot with *RavenBlakh (Thanks for that hun~ ) we went off to meet ~Pratatooie! It was awesome that she could arrive, and after going back with her to our room to cosplay up, we rejoined forces with the rest of Varia >D And generally pratted about for the whole day, the odd photo, milling around and chilling. There were highlights, including my fanbase, jap fangirls and my piggyback from Bossu~ – plus a few lowlights, ; But generally, twas good sunday exponess. A meal didn't really happen that night, unless you can call a tube of Pringles a meal ! Which, me and ~Pratatooie ate on the bridge~ We went back to our room early to pack up while a few others were still outside, and eventually everyone else plodded back in. More chillin', this time on Bossu's lap, before we all went to bed.
Twas a good day of Levi abuse.

MONDAY! And with it blues. Expo blues to be precise as we all knew we'd be heading out.. Twas sad to see people leaave... But in a fit of stubborness to let expo end, myself and *Ayazani followed ~Chibi-Hebi-Chan back to her appropriate residence! We watched films, ripped Twilight to shreds (Who knew it was full of incest, cosplayers and ONIIIIOOOOONS???), rewatched the Varia ring battles, didn't move much to go anywhere and ate epic sandwiches. We had a really good few days actually, just relaxing in each others company~ I was really down on Wednesday when I had to go home.. So they followed me back to mine until Aya-chan had to go and get her train~ <3 Thankies Guys! I ended up having my first woeful mcdonalds.. *sniff* In the local park.. I can never look at that park the same way agaiiin!


In short, it was an EPIC weekend. I really had fun with you guys~ Mou! Miss you all!
